Aune N5 EVO is a sophisticated network-based music player and streamer, designed for audiophiles seeking high-performance sound reproduction in a compact format. This device combines modern streaming technology with reference-level sound quality, and is built on an architecture similar to a traditional CD player but focused on digital audio decoding. It uses a dedicated CPU solely for audio restoration, resulting in a clean and simple signal path without unnecessary interference. 

• DAC and Processor: Equipped with ESS9039Q2M DAC chip, NXP Cortex-M7 processor, and Intel FPGA for precise signal processing. FIFO technology and dual internal PLL generators minimize jitter and ensure smooth, detailed sound reproduction.
• Support for High-Resolution Audio: Handles PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512 for analog output. For digital outputs, it supports PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz (coaxial/optical) and up to 32-bit/384 kHz/DSD256 (I2S). Local files include DSD, APE (up to 192 kHz/24-bit), FLAC (up to 384 kHz/32-bit), WAV, MP3, WMA, AAC, ALAC, AIFF, and CUE.
• Wireless Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.1 with Qualcomm QCC5125 module, supporting aptX HD and LDAC codecs for near lossless wireless transmission up to 990 kbps. Wi-Fi (2.4G) enables streaming from platforms such as AirPlay 2, Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Qobuz, Amazon Music, and NetEase Cloud.
• Inputs and Outputs: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 2× USB drives for local playback. Outputs include balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA (analog), I2S, coaxial (RCA), optical Toslink, and a BNC input for external 10 MHz clock for improved timing accuracy.
