The ARAY conductor geometry has evolved from the Tuned ARAY conductor configuration first used in Chord's then flagship Chord Sarum cable range. The overmolded RCA connector uses the same signal-enhancing direct gold plating process that Chord uses on their Chord VEE3 RCA connectors.
The main reason Chord developed this cable is that good quality digital players and turntables have become so affordable. A cable that could match that performance was needed. It is a great challenge to produce a truly high-performance cable that transmits a musical signal with a true sense of context, and Chord are rightly proud of their award-winning C-line cables.

Chord C-line interconnect is designed to work with all line-level components, CD players, streaming devices, DVD players, home theater amplifiers, tuners, and pre-to-power amplifier connections. This cable can also be used with RCA equipped turntables.
