The NuPrime CDT-8 Pro is a highly accurate professional music CD transport with a powerful DSP-based decoder that provides all Red Book error-correction functions with master-clock control of the entire decoding system, significantly reducing jitter. The transport's single fixed speed minimizes vibration and unbalanced discs. A selectable sampling rate converter (SRC) upsamples the CD format to a higher sampling rate (up to PCM 24-bit/768 kHz and DSD256) with ultra-low jitter and distortion.

Highly accurate CD playback
- A powerful ARM chip, the LPC2103F CD reader, writer, and error-correction controller
- Philips SAA7824HL advanced laser reader/writer for master control and decoder chips for the CD transport.
- The algorithm reduces digital interference, resulting in extremely low jitter

Sampling rate converter
- The sampling rate for CD playback can be upsampled to PCM and DSD, from 44.1 kHz to 768 kHz or DoP256
- Conversion is achieved by upsampling to megahertz before downconverting to the desired sampling rate with ultra-low jitter and distortion.
