The input handles 4K and 8K VRR/HDR/HLG/DV/LLDV/HDR10+ up to FRL5/40Gbps/1200MHz for video, and all audio formats available today. It also allows DV playback from LLDV sources to HDR10 displays and real-time adjustment of HDR nits. All signal information is clearly displayed via OLED or OSD.

Getting started – Installation

One source + eARC: Connect the HDMI output from your source to the 8K Arcana 2's HDMI input. Connect Arcana's HDMI output to any projector, monitor, or display. Connect the eARC output to SONOS Arc or similar. If your display has ARC/eARC input, you can retrieve TV audio from it. This provides full audio up to Atmos/TrueHD from the HDMI source, eARC signal for TV audio, and CEC volume control from source or TV.

Multiple sources + eARC: Connect all sources to an HDMI switch (or receiver) and the switch's output to Arcana's HDMI input. Continue as above. Use the HDMI COPY output to split/mirror the signal, downscale VRR for Hue Sync, capture cards, lower spec displays, or as audio output for older AVR with 1080p stream and full audio.
