Marantz AV8805A offers an outstanding construction for the best, unaltered music and movie playback. The very rigid chassis – the foundation for all circuit boards that transport the sensitive audio signal – leaves no chance for microphonic influence through unwanted vibrations. The oversized toroidal transformer that powers the large main capacitors is mounted on an extra 5mm thick aluminum pedestal for added stability. All electronics are enhanced by the copper plating on the chassis, which ensures the best connection to ground everywhere and significantly improves the signal-to-noise ratio. A total of 17 individual HDAM modules are used to achieve the best channel separation for reference-setting audio performance. Finally, everything is well enclosed by a heavy lid constructed from three parts.
