Marantz AV8805A offers an outstanding construction for the best, unaltered music and movie playback. The very rigid chassis – the foundation of all circuit boards that transport the sensitive audio signal – leaves no chance for microphonic influence through unwanted vibrations. The oversized toroidal transformer that feeds the large main capacitors is mounted on an extra 5mm thick aluminum pedestal for added stability. All electronics are promoted by the copper plating on the chassis which guarantees the best connection to ground everywhere and significantly improves the signal to noise ratio. A total of 17 individual HDAM modules are used to achieve the best channel separation for benchmark audio performance. Finally, everything is well enclosed by a heavy lid constructed of three parts.
