Marantz MM8077 is a 7-channel power amplifier with weight, both in terms of sound and design.
The MM8077 delivers a full 7x150 Watts (RMS). XLR and RCA connections on all channels. Engineered with Marantz Current Feedback and HDAM technologies, and with a solid toroidal transformer as the basis and specially designed components of the highest class. Copper plated chassis provides maximum shielding.
Current Feedback technology in harmony with HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules) makes the sound bloom to its full potential. Marantz proprietary Current Feedback is based on getting a large bandwidth and an ultra-fast reproduction by having a limited impedance that results in very low phase shifts. By bringing the phase compensation to a minimum via the negative feedback, excellent transient reproduction is achieved. In the technology, Marantz HDAM circuits are also integrated with qualitative and discreet components to further enhance the sound experience with a precise and detailed sound. Discrete components instead of cheap, off-the-shelf ICs. These HDAM's do the same job as OP amplifiers, but outclass the regular IC OP amplifications, giving a much more dynamic, precise and detailed sound. These are an integral part of the Current Feedback technology.
