Marantz Model 30 is an exceptionally comfortable and award-winning stereo amplifier from Marantz Premium range. Eisa named the amplifier, along with the matching SACD/CD player, the stereo system of the year, and in Ljud&Bild magazine they described the amplifier as "mind-bogglingly beautiful" with a build quality that surpasses most. This is a tribute to Marantz for their first integrated amplifier, the Model Thirty, which debuted on the market in 1970. The amplifier is equipped with Marantz own HDAM circuits and combines them with class D amplifier modules from Hypex to deliver an impressive 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms.
The construction is completely analog, and this design philosophy is a return to the legacy of former chief designer Ken Ishiwata. The digital components are found in the matching SACD 30n player, which also has an integrated top class RIAA stage with support for both MM and MC.
