Marantz Model M4 - Stereo amplifier
Marantz Model M4 is a rack-format multi-zone amplifier that powers music in up to four rooms from a single unit. It is aimed at those who want proper Marantz sound throughout the home without a wall of separate amplifiers.
Eight channels provide 100 W per channel, and in bridge mode you can combine the channels for up to 4 x 200 W when a room needs more power. Four built-in HEOS modules allow each zone to stream independently or play the same music in a group, while the optical inputs handle TV audio. Dolby Digital decoding and Marantz Musical Digital Filtering (MMDF) keep the sound clean.
For installation, it is flexible: four analog RCA inputs, four pre-outs, four subwoofer outputs, and a 12 V trigger. Crestron, Control4, and AMX are supported via TCP/IP, and it is built in Shirakawa, Japan.
