Compared to its predecessor CD6006, the CD6007 CD player has even more carefully selected components and an improved circuit layout. Stable feet eliminate unwanted vibrations while the oversized, low-noise power supply powers the player's digital and analog circuitry. The new, high-quality AK4490 DAC combined with two selectable filter options converts digital signals to analog, which are then sent to the gold-plated sync outputs of Marantz proprietary HDAM-SA2 signal amplifier.
Plus a new remote control that also controls the matching amplifier PM6007.
The CD6007 also features a newly developed and sophisticated headphone amplifier with gain adjustment to suit a wide range of headphones.
