NuPrime Evolution Two-SE is a reference-class mono power amplifier that delivers 300 watts into 8 ohms and 600 watts into 4 ohms. It is an amplifier that challenges the finest Class A designs while offering the power and efficiency of Class D technology. Two units are required for a stereo setup.
At its core is NuPrime's ODC technology (Only Distortion Cancellation). Instead of a traditional feedback loop that inverts the output signal, ODC extracts the error signal directly from the MOSFET circuits and output filter. Two-SE features an updated ODC stage that improves noise immunity by a factor of ten compared with its predecessor, Evolution Two.
The result is distortion levels of 0.001 % THD+N at 5 watts and 0.002 % all the way up to 200 watts. Military-grade feedback resistors with a 15 ppm temperature coefficient, new Class D MOSFETs with three times higher current delivery and 2-ohm tolerance, and a precision-machined heat-sink block made of aircraft-grade aluminum provide cleaner and more refined reproduction. The sound is warm and natural, with Class A character in the midrange while maintaining full control even over the most current-hungry speaker systems.
