NuPrime Isolation Feet are silicone feet that dampen and neutralize vibrations that would otherwise seep into the sound from the surface below. They are compatible with NuPrime Home Stereo series electronics and elevate playback to a cleaner, more natural sound.
Each foot is molded from medical-grade silicone in a single piece, so it both supports the device’s weight and absorbs vibrations from the table or shelf. The silicone comes in two hardness levels: 40°A is softer and 60°A is harder. For devices with uneven weight distribution, 60°A is typically used on the heavier side and 40°A on the lighter side, so all the feet bear the weight evenly.
The design minimizes contact with the surface in several ways: The M3 screw extends two-thirds of the way into the silicone for stability and shock absorption, an O-ring (R0.8 mm) keeps the contact area small, and the 5T galvanized SECC steel base plate provides isolation and protection against shocks. Resonances and vibrations stay in the furniture instead of coloring the music.
