Oehlbach - Phase tester
Fixed tester from Oehlback that helps you see which pin on the plug for your electronics should be connected to the phase in the wall socket. This tool is a very helpful part in getting your plant to perform optimally.
Oehlbach tester is powered by a 9v battery and has a socket where you plug in the device you want to test.
To test this:
1. The device's power switch must be in the on position.
2. Insert the device's plug into the fixed tester and press the test button. The fixed tester has two red diodes, one on each side of the socket, one of them will light up when the button is held down and show where the phase should be connected.
3. Turn the plug over and test again. If the indication moves to the second diode, you now know where the phase should be connected. If the same diode is lit, proceed to point 4.
4. Connect the fixed tester to earth with the supplied cable. Redo points 2 and 3.
5. Mark the connector so you know which pin should be connected to phase.
