Rega Neo PSU is a hi-end power supply for all compatible turntables from Rega . The Neo PSU replaces the previous TT-PSU and is improved on several points, also with a completely new design
So what does the Neo PSU do? Most importantly, it leaves a very stable and clean power supply to the turntable, and thanks to the electronics, you can change speed electronically at the touch of a button instead of having to move the drive belt every time you want to switch between LPs and singles.
A very precise speed control thanks to a DSP generator taken from Rega's flagship RP10. This circuit divides the frequency from the very stable crystal used in the Neo PSU, to the exact frequency required to get the correct turntable speed, while producing a near perfect sinusoidal waveform to drive the 24-Volt motor.
Furthermore, the Neo PSU contains an advanced anti-vibration circuit and the possibility for the user to fine-tune the speed. With a Neo PSU plugged in, no other power supply is needed for the turntable, the one previously used for the turntable is used instead to power the Neo PSU.
Compatible turntables: P3-24 / RP3 / Planar 3 2016 / RP6 / P5 / P7 / RP40 special edition / RP8 Also all previous turntables that have been modified with Regas 24V motor upgrade kit.
ATTENTION! Important! never connect a power adapter (PS1) to both the turntable and the Neo PSU at the same time, this can lead to serious damage to the equipment.
