Sony BRAVIA Projector 7 (VPL-XW5100) is a laser-based home theater projector with a true 4K SXRD panel and Sony's XR Processor for Projectors. With 2,200 ANSI lumens, dynamic tone mapping, and dual HDMI 2.1 ports supporting 4K@120Hz, it handles everything from movies to fast-paced gaming in the home theater.
The XR processor analyzes the image in real time and adjusts brightness, color, and contrast for natural, deep reproduction. XR Dynamic Tone Mapping tone-maps every scene for accurate HDR, XR Deep Black delivers deeper blacks in dark scenes, and XR Triluminos Pro covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. The laser light source lasts up to 20,000 hours.
Aspect Ratio Scaling makes it easy to switch digitally between 16:9 and Cinemascope (2.35:1) without touching the lens, and with five lens memories, 1.6x zoom, and lens shift (vertical ±71%, horizontal ±25%), installation is flexible. For gaming, it delivers 4K@120Hz with just 12 ms of input lag via HDMI 2.1.
