The sMS-500 is SOtM's next-generation streamer, replacing the acclaimed sMS-200. It's a pure network player with no built-in DAC, designed to feed your digital converter with the cleanest, most stable signal possible via USB.
The hardware is built from the ground up with sound in mind. Rather than chasing computing power, SOtM has optimized for low electrical noise, signal integrity and timing throughout the playback chain. This brings greater transparency, naturalness and presence to the music.
It runs SOtM's proven Eunhasu OS, with broad support for Roon Ready, UPnP/DLNA, MPD, HQPlayer NAA and Diretta, and can be controlled from most streaming platforms. A streamer that belongs ahead of a separate DAC in a serious digital audio system.
