The SS2590 Pro Discrete Audio Op Amp represents everything Sparkos Labs ever wanted in an op amp, but couldn't achieve in the SS3601/SS3602's smaller package size. These units are intended for use in professional recording studios, microphone amplifiers, EQs and consoles. Many of the units in this class were constructed in the 1970s using 1970s technology. The Sparkos Labs SS2590 is a great upgrade to these op-amps and it uses the latest and greatest transistors and components. 

Sparko's PRO to DIP adapters also allow these devices to be used to replace simple op-amps in a DIP 8 package.
ATTENTION! This model has 2 SS2590 pre-mounted on DIP-8 adapter! Risers are also included in the price.

Upgrade to SS2590
The discrete op-amp SS2590 PRO has been designed to be as sonically transparent as possible. Sparkos Labs design philosophy is "a piece of wire with amplification" to provide the most accurate music reproduction and recording possible. What you hear is what you record, and every effort has been made to preserve the artist's tone, timbre and timing. These units can replace any 6 pin, 1 inch square op-amps included in many mic amps, EQ's, mixers etc found in most recording consoles.
