A fast signal cable with extremely low capacitance. In line with our design concept, a speaker cable should have low inductance while a signal cable should have low capacitance. SUPRA DAC is insulated with gas-blown PE, which gives only 45 pF/m. It is shielded with SUPRA's effective and strong semiconductive Nylon tape. The cable has two conductors for balanced or semi-balanced connection. The high-frequency characteristics of the DAC are extremely good. It is the cable's speed and low capacitance that make it so. With speed, you also get a cleaner transient response and thus better spatial definition in the music. DAC has a velocity factor of 78% of the speed of light. This is thanks to the low dielectric constant in the gas-blown PE insulation. With Teflon, it would have only been 71%.
