Mk3.1 with improved electronics and circuit board. To further improve performance, Supra has increased from 2 capacitors to 4 pcs 33000uF. To accommodate the new components, Supra has lengthened the DC blocker by 52mm compared to the previous version.

Supra has also replaced all electronics with components with copper legs to reduce ferromagnetic losses. The Mk3.1 is faster, better and provides even cleaner power.

Mains filter that removes direct voltage (DC) that should not be present on the mains voltage. Easily connected before the existing distribution box.

Direct voltage (DC) must not be present on the mains voltage. Despite that, DC is increasingly measured as more and more asymmetric electricity consumers in homes are connected. Being environmentally conscious and choosing only LED lights, for example, gives rise to asymmetry in the electricity grid. Of course, we must not stop being energy-efficient and environmentally conscious, but we must develop products that filter the unwanted interference for equipment that is sensitive.

This DC degrades the power supply performance and linearity of multimedia and hi-fi devices. For example, it causes the iron core of transformers to become saturated. Furthermore, it produces unnecessary heat development and can even cause the transformer to hum physically. Thanks to reduced heat development, a DC filter can therefore help to increase the lifespan. In terms of sound, the filter has shown evidence of dramatically improved sound and scales away the sounds/disturbances that do not come from the recording. In other words, you listen to the music and not the irregularities in the mains voltage.

Once again, Supra leads the way with an effective DC filter which, by being secured for the DC part of future electrical appliances, stops up to 3.6 VDC already at launch. It is very easy to use, you simply put it in series before the existing distribution box. The filter works without protective earth, but we always recommend connecting equipment recommended to be earthed to protective earth.

The rated current is a high 16 Ampere, which allows a maximum transmitted power of up to 3,680 Watt! The connection cable is, as usual, an accessory, so that you can avoid additional extension cables by being able to choose the right length from the start. Note that the connection socket in the DC filter is for 16 Ampere.

Note. The DC filter does NOT dampen the dynamics! A very common reaction is that when something is removed from a familiar sound/music, you miss it. Often the actual sound is much smoother and not as noisy. This can often be mistaken for not being as dynamic. Dynamics is the difference between the strongest and weakest notes in music, and when the system goes quiet, the dynamics actually increase! There are no components in the filter that dampen increased power demand.

Important! When plugging in and out of the Supra's DC filter, or switching in an associated distribution strip, it is important that this starts with pulling the power cable from the wall socket. It always is, and here in particular! Always allow all charging to be pulled from the devices from stand-by until the LEDs have gone out on all devices. Only then can further in/out/switching take place. The reason, as said, is that the remaining charge in the units and in the DC filter must discharge. Supra does not believe that it is enough to break with any breaker.
