Supra Sword Excalibur IXLR Rhodium

Supra's absolute best signal cable with Rhodium-plated XLR connectors. Plating with Rhodium is a completely different process than gold plating. Gold plating is a relatively simple process while Rhodium plating is difficult and costly, but also provides better conductor properties. The cable is based on the same patented principle as all Sword cables, a low-inductance bifilar wound Litz construction. The concept provides low interference pickup and, together with our most effective foil shield, offers very good protection against electrical and magnetic fields. As with its predecessor, the phase-shifting reactance is extremely small, leaving only a very low, phase-linear resistance that lets all tones be exactly as intended during recording, mixing, and mastering.

The construction also almost completely cancels out capacitance, resulting in an ultra-fast signal cable with total dynamics and full transparency. The pitch-black background reveals the smallest micro-detail just as a cable should. Sword conveys the music exactly, does not remove anything, add, change or enhance. Listen & enjoy. Have fun!

Sword is carefully assembled by Supra's experienced assemblers in Ljungskile, Sweden. Stripping, enamel removal of Litz wire, soldering
and testing is done manually to ensure absolutely the best quality. A handcrafted work Supra is proud of.

Each conductor contains twelve individually enamel-insulated strands in two layers. The innermost layer's six strands are twisted in one direction with a steep pitch to be exactly the same length as the outer layer's six strands twisted in the opposite direction. The layers are separated by a PE insulation, the inner layer twisted around a fiberglass core for mechanical stability. Outermost, separately shielded with our fine foil shield, which prevents interference from tainting the signal. The result is a lightning-fast, phase-correct cable that lets the signal pass without being affected in any way.
