Supra Sword Excalibur ISL Rhodium

Supra is now launching a special version of Sword-isl to match Sword Excalibur speaker cables.

Rhodium plating is a completely different process than gold plating. Gold plating is a relatively simple process while Rhodium plating is difficult and costly, but also provides better conductivity.

The cable is based on the same patented principle as for all Sword cables, a low-inductance bifilar wound Litz construction. The concept provides low interference absorption and, together with Supra's most efficient foil screen, provides very good protection against electric and magnetic fields. As with its predecessor, the phase-shifting reactance is extremely small, leaving only a very low, phase-linear resistance that allows all timbres to be exactly as intended during recording, mixing and mastering. The design also virtually eliminates capacitance, providing an ultra-fast signal cable with total dynamics and full transparency. The pitch black background brings out the smallest micro detail just like cable should. Sword conveys the music precisely, not removing, adding, altering or amplifying anything.

Each conductor contains twelve individually varnish insulated cords in two layers. The inner layer's six cordels are spun in one direction at a steep pitch to be exactly the same length as the outer layer's six cordels spun in the other direction. The layers are separated by a PE insulation, the inner layer spun around a fiberglass core for mechanical stability. Outermost, separately shielded with our fine foil shield, which does not allow interference to stain the signal. The result is a lightning-fast, phase-correct cable that allows the signal to pass without being affected in any direction.
