Supra XL Annorum is a speaker cable that Supra is proud to present as part of their 40-year anniversary offer. This cable was developed together with a well-known Swedish speaker designer who is known for his QLN speakers. The intention was a conductor cable for internal wiring for speaker drivers and crossover filters. During development, Supra achieved such good performance that the idea of letting the conductors form a complete speaker cable was brought to life.

"What happens when Supra XL Annorum XLR takes the stage, right between these two? (Quadrax and Sword). Well, the short answer is that the newcomer is significantly better than Quadrax and thus also much closer to Sword in performance... Here there is an effortless musicality but also a calm and control that is absent in the cheaper Quadrax cable. This is noticeable across all registers but especially in the bass, which tightens up incredibly compared to before and is very close to Sword. Quadrax has obviously not gotten worse since last time, but with the new Supra XL Annorum XLR you get all the qualities of the cheaper cable, but so infinitely much more besides."

The construction is a 4 x 1.6 mm2 conductor configuration, where each conductor consists of a plastic core around 12 strands of 5N oxygen-free copper spun in a tight pitch. This effectively minimizes skin effect and inductance, and by choosing the sonically favorable PP as the dielectric (insulation), the sonic stability, by preventing corrosion and material fatigue, will remain at the highest possible level year after year.
