A robust in-ceiling speaker delivering the deepest bass to the highest treble, the RB-950 is suitable for both music and movies. The treble is adjustable so you can direct it towards the listening position, and you can also adjust the treble level in 3 settings.
As with all TAGA speakers, you get an open, transparent soundstage with fine detail and quick dynamic response. Thanks to the premium tweeter and a solid 8" driver, the RB-950 can play very loudly. TAGA speakers are very neutral, as noted in the review below; they don’t have a wow factor but their advantages are appreciated over time. This also makes TAGA very easy to integrate with other speakers.
However, if you want to move away from neutrality, it’s easy today with the high-quality equalizers found in most receivers and stereo amplifiers. This is something we will see more of in higher-end amplifiers. Rooms are rarely optimal, and having a quality equalizer that works in the digital domain does wonders for sound reproduction, such as in living rooms where acoustic treatment is difficult to do while maintaining aesthetics.

Thin TAGA Super Low-profile Bezel (TSLB), small minimum mounting depth, super visible blue mounting clamps, environmental equalizer, and very rigid chassis with rubber-coated honeycomb structure on the front panel make the RB-950 a versatile and great performer.
