TAGA TAV-607F

The new generation of the Audio-Video series is not an evolution of its predecessors - it is a completely new approach to design and sound for this line. Audio-Video has been a leader in its price category for years, offering affordable sound. The design, materials, and sound quality of this Audio-Video generation further strengthen its position as an affordable option.

The price is per pair!

When developing the TAV-607F, the goal was to create eye-catching speakers with really great sound, at the budget-friendly prices that are the hallmark of the Audio-Video series.

As always, the focus was on extensive listening tests and sound tuning rather than perfect figures on paper, because music and sound are about emotion and passion. The result is speakers with deep, well-controlled and clearly defined bass, a smooth and rich midrange, and detailed, crystal-clear highs, together with a very open and airy soundstage.

The TAV-607F stands out with detailed, rich sound from its silk dome tweeter, an open and natural midrange from a new 6.5-inch midrange driver, and deep, lively bass from two 6.5-inch woofers.

The TAV-607F proudly carries on the legacy of its predecessors and shows that the Audio-Video series is one of the best speaker buys for the money ever!

Key features and new additions compared with the previous generation

• Second-generation TLIE-I cabinet (Taga Low Interference Enclosure) with a stiffer construction that limits unwanted resonances: thicker 21 mm MDF front baffle (previously 15 mm) and additional internal bracing.
• Larger internal volume (the cabinet depth has increased from 25 to 28 cm) for better bass.
• The top of the cabinet slopes back by approximately 4 degrees, further limiting unwanted resonances and turbulence.
• Brand-new nylon feet with aluminum spikes.
• The feet are exceptionally rigid and sturdy, isolating the speakers almost completely from the floor. This results in more transparent sound and bass with better definition and control.
• The elegant, understated design of the feet is based on those from the premium Platinum v.3 series and adds an extra touch of elegance to the TAV speakers.
• You can choose to use the feet with spikes or the spikes alone.
• New high-quality cabinet damping material better breaks up standing waves, reduces resonances and limits distortion, resulting in smoother sound across the entire range.
• New TAGA Harmony emblem on the front, elegant and expressing the pursuit of perfect harmony in sound.
• Upgraded tweeter with a 1" (25 mm) silk dome, extra-large Φ70 magnet, ferrofluid cooling and a powerful copper voice coil. It can handle high power and reproduces sound with great accuracy, clarity, smoothness, detail and airiness.
• Second-generation TWG-I tweeter plate (Taga WaveGuide): a horn-like design with concave diffusers that spread sound evenly both forward and to the sides. In the new version, the shape and depth have been redesigned for better airflow and even wider dispersion, resulting in a more three-dimensional and natural soundstage. Fewer parts also make the construction stiffer, with lower distortion and fewer resonances.
• New 6.5" (165 mm) midrange driver: a larger, stiffer and ultralight polypropylene cone with an elastic rubber surround delivers fast response and a smooth, full and very natural midrange. The heavy-duty voice coil and Φ80 magnet withstand high temperatures and high power. The flat dust cap improves airflow and smooths the frequency response.
• Upgraded dual 6.5" (165 mm) woofers: ultralight polypropylene cone with elastic rubber surround, Φ90 magnet, heavy-duty voice coil and a stiffer basket. The drivers handle higher power and longer playing time without heating up, and deliver deeper, more musical and precise bass. The flat dust cap improves airflow and smooths the frequency response.
