The goal with the TAV-807S was to create an eye-catching speaker with really great sound at the budget price that is the hallmark of the Audio-Video series.

Key features and new developments compared with the previous generation
- Second-generation TLIE-I cabinet (Taga Low Interference Enclosure) with a stiffer construction that limits unwanted resonances: thicker 18 mm MDF front baffle.
- New, high-quality damping material in the cabinet better breaks up standing waves, reduces resonances, and limits distortion, resulting in more even sound across all frequencies.
- New TAGA Harmony emblem on the front, elegant and an expression of the pursuit of perfect harmony in sound.
- Upgraded tweeter with a 1" (25 mm) silk dome, extra-large Φ70 magnet, ferrofluid cooling, and a powerful copper voice coil. It handles high power and reproduces sound with exceptional accuracy, clarity, smoothness, detail, and openness.
- Second-generation TWG-I tweeter plate (Taga WaveGuide): a horn-like design with concave diffusers that spreads sound evenly both forward and to the sides. In the new version, the shape and depth have been redesigned for improved airflow and even wider dispersion, resulting in a more three-dimensional and natural soundstage. Fewer parts also make the construction more rigid, with lower distortion and fewer resonances.
- Upgraded 5.25" (133 mm) woofer/midrange driver: an ultra-light polypropylene cone with a flexible rubber surround delivers fast movement and smooth, full, highly natural midrange. The powerful voice coil and Φ70 magnet can withstand high temperatures and high power. The flat dust cap improves airflow and smooths the frequency response.
- Wall mount: the included wall mount makes it quick and easy to mount the speaker on a wall or another surface.
