The powerful Class-D output stage results in lower distortions, smoother frequency response and very fast response.
The bass element weighing almost 7.5 kg is constructed with a strong paper cone, a solid metal chassis, 2-magnet structure and a robust voice coil - the result is higher amplitude operation and faster response to any changes in the audio signal. The SW-15D is of bass reflex type and has a slotted port placed on the back down towards the floor. With this shape and placement you get low turbulence and high speed which gives an exceptional dispersion of low frequencies.
