TAGA TSW-212 SE is an advanced active subwoofer with a powerful 12-inch woofer, a robust built-in high-current amplifier, and a rear-mounted slotted bass port. The entire electronics section, including the amplifier, is based on TAGA`s premium subwoofer Platinum SW-10 v.3, ensuring top-class sound performance.
The SE version features improved components, such as capacitors, a modified bass driver, and a redesigned cabinet with increased volume and stiffness for clearer sound and less resonance.
- 12-inch woofer: A redesigned 12-inch polypropylene bass driver with fast and precise bass response. The TSAC system efficiently manages heat, supporting high power and volume.
- Class A/B amplifier: The amplifier delivers 240W RMS (750W dynamic peak) with low distortion and smooth frequency response. A clip limiter protects both amplifier and woofer at high volumes.
- Bass reflex port: The rear, slotted port near the floor provides efficient dispersion of low frequencies for deep and clear bass.
- Build quality: The TLIE cabinet is made of high-quality MDF with acoustic damping material to reduce vibrations. Beveled edges prevent diffraction, and the durable vinyl finish has an elegant wood-like texture.
With a frequency range of 23Hz–200Hz, the TSW-212 SE is suitable for music, movies, and games. The THCA amplifier with toroidal transformer provides stable power. Features like Auto On/Off and low standby power consumption (<0.5W) make it practical and energy-efficient.
