Product description

FP-Gold, like the other cables in the Gold series, is exceptionally good. It has a full and authoritarian base and clears up the sound image well. Instruments are clearer with a blacker background. The good shielding also ensures that signal and speaker cables are not disturbed by the power cable.

Phase and neutral are made of a solid alloy consisting of 5% pure gold and 95% pure silver and a mesh of 5N oxygen-free copper wires around, these are Teflon insulated. The ground consists of Teflon-insulated 5N oxygen-free copper which also has a separate copper screen in the form of a network of copper wire with a thick layer of Teflon.
 
Phase and neutral are wound around each other in spiral form and lie parallel to earth encased in a melted rubber cylinder.
 
The main screen is silver-plated oxygen-free copper 5N.
The Schuko plug is of very strong construction and has gold-plated surfaces.
