Product description

FS-Gold is a speaker cable with foil conductors, the conductors consist of 95% silver and 5% gold. XINDAK uses a special melting technique under vacuum to manufacture these conductors. The good conductors and the patented sandwich shape, Teflon and polypropylene as an insulating layer, make this a very successful design. The cable has extreme properties and is a matter of course in every installation if you require the best signal transmission to your speakers. 

The cable is constructed using XINDAK's patented sandwich technology. The cable consists of four 0.1 mm thick and 20 mm wide layers consisting of 95% 4N silver and 5% pure 24K gold. In the middle it has two signal conductors with a thin tinned alloy between them. Around these is melted polyethylene which acts as insulation and damping. Above and below there are two return conductors of the same dimension and quality. They also have a tinned copper alloy over them which is the actual cable shield. A thin layer of Teflon is melted around this to ensure good insulation. On both ends of the cable, rings are mounted that minimize signal distortion from RF radiation. The cables are terminated with high quality banana plugs and spades from WBT.
 
The philosophy behind using an alloy of silver and gold is that when melting silver (which arguably has the best conductivity) very high temperatures are used. When the silver is then cooled again, crystals form at intervals. This can lead to delays in signal transmission that exceed the dynamics. When you add gold to the melting process, these holes are effectively sealed (since the metals have different melting temperatures). This leads to a cleaner and faster transmission and a superior sound reproduction.

If ordered before 3pm on weekdays, we will ship the same day, provided the item is in stock. Normal delivery time is 1-5 working days, but in case of high order intake or ordering of certain products, delivery may take longer. Should any of the goods you ordered be out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible.
