With eight high-performance drivers in a unique configuration, the M8 delivers powerful, clean, and neutral sound that fills rooms up to 120 m². It is designed to provide an optimal listening experience for multiple listeners simultaneously, with minimal impact from the room's acoustics, making it ideal for both home theater and Hi-Fi systems.

Unique driver arrangement:

• Hex tweeter array: Six 24 mm dome tweeters in polymer-reinforced Japanese silk, arranged in a line array, handle frequencies from 950 Hz to 30,000 Hz. Five drivers cover the midrange (950 Hz–2,500 Hz), while one driver focuses on the highest frequencies (2,500 Hz–30,000 Hz). This design provides low phase shift, minimal distortion, high sound pressure level, and controlled dispersion.
• D'Appolito bass: Two 200 mm (8") electrodynamic bass drivers with long-fiber paper cones and polymer blend in a D'Appolito arrangement deliver deep, controlled bass with high sensitivity and low distortion.

Construction:

• Sound tuning (Room Tuning): A switch on the back adjusts the treble level in three settings (-2 dB, 0 dB, +2 dB) to adapt the sound to the room's acoustics or personal preferences. -2 dB suits rooms with long reverberation, +2 dB for damped rooms, and 0 dB for most environments.
• Sealed enclosure: The sealed design provides precise and controlled bass, ideal for environments where bass reflex is not desirable.
• Robust cabinet: Made of high-quality HDF for superior stiffness and stability. The parallelogram-shaped design minimizes internal resonances, and a 7.5° front tilt directs sound toward the listening area. Four threaded inserts on the back allow stable wall mounting with the XTZ Flushmount Kit or VESA 75 mount.
• Anti-reflective coating: Eight layers of matte black polyurethane paint minimize reflections from screens or projection surfaces and provide an elegant, professional finish. The high-gloss baffle enhances the exclusive look.
• High-quality terminal: Gold-plated connectors support bi-wiring and bi-amping, with included jumpers for optimal signal transfer. The terminals are robust and compatible with both bare wires and banana plugs.
• Magnetic grill and logo: The acoustically transparent grill attaches magnetically for a clean look without the grill. The magnetic XTZ logo can be easily removed or adjusted for horizontal or vertical placement.

With a frequency range of 49 Hz–30 kHz (±3 dB) and a sensitivity of 91.2 dB, the Cinema M8 delivers powerful and detailed sound, perfect for both home theater and Hi-Fi. The unique line-array design with six dome tweeters ensures a smooth frequency response within ±30° and minimizes reflections from walls, floors, and ceilings, providing a clean and dynamic sound image even in acoustically challenging rooms. The two 8-inch bass drivers in a D'Appolito arrangement offer deep and controlled bass, while the low crossover frequency (950 Hz) to the dome drivers reduces phase shift and distortion for a clean midrange. The speaker can handle high sound pressure levels (up to 600 W short-term) without sounding distorted, making it ideal for large rooms and demanding sound experiences.
