XTZ Cinema S5 Dipole 3x - The most flexible surround speaker!

With Cinema S5, you can choose whether you want a direct-radiating, dipole, or dipole 3X surround speaker. This allows you to customize the sound dispersion according to the room and preferences for an optimal surround experience.

The S5 is very unique and has three different settings:

• Direct-radiating (front elements only)
• Dipole (side elements only)
• Dipole 3X (Both side and front elements)

Structure:

• Double tweeters: Two 24 mm dome tweeters in polymer-reinforced Japanese silk, mounted in a duo-tweeter arrangement, deliver crystal clear and detailed sound even at high sound pressure levels.
• Midrange: A 120 mm electrodynamic driver with long-fiber paper diaphragm in D'Appolito arrangement ensures clear and full reproduction of mid frequencies.
• Full-range drivers: Two 80 mm side-mounted full-range drivers with laminated papyrus diaphragm enhance the dipole effect, especially for frequencies below 1 kHz, for a spacious sound image.
• Robust cabinet: Made from strong HDF for maximum stability and minimal resonance. The irregular shape reduces internal standing waves, and recessed mounts make wall mounting easy with the XTZ Flushmount kit or floor stands.
• Anti-reflective coating: Eight layers of matte black polyurethane lacquer minimize reflections from projectors and provide an elegant finish. The magnetic grill offers a clean look when not in use.
• High-quality terminal: Gold-plated contacts support bi-wiring and bi-amping for optimal signal transfer and flexibility. Sound modes are easily selected via the top terminal and included bridge.

With a frequency range of 80 Hz–30 kHz (±3 dB) and a sensitivity of 87 dB, the S5 delivers dynamic and balanced surround sound, perfect for movies and music. The three sound modes allow the speaker to be adapted to different room conditions, from small home theater setups to larger configurations. A subwoofer is required to cover the lowest frequencies, but the S5 integrates seamlessly into multi-channel systems. Its compact size and flexible mounting options make it easy to place.
